How do you perceive the opportunities getting better for the OEMs in the construction equipment industry as the Bharatmala project aims to ensure speeding up approval processes to enable quicker execution of projects?
As we all know the Bharatmala project, the second-largest highways construction project in India, is aimed at improving connectivity, especially along economic corridors, border areas and far-flung regions and the project launched in 2017. The project focus on optimizing the efficiency of freight and passenger movement across the country by bridging critical infrastructure gaps and targeted to build 65000 km’s of National highway in two phases. While the NHAI planned to build the entire road network by 2022, there have been substantial delays due to the Pandemic and the first phase expected to be completed by 2026. The project is estimated to generate nearly 22 million jobs and 100-million-man days of Job.
Speeding up of approval processes will enable early initiation of the projects which has already seen cost overruns. These being time bound projects of large magnitude, it will necessitate deployment of technologically advanced products with optimised operation costs, that will provide returns to the contractors. How do you see initiatives like ‘Make in India’, PLI scheme etc, further accelerating the growth of the construction equipment sector?

Our products are designed to work in tough site conditions, and we have an efficient network of 35 dealers across India to support in remotest areas.
We are committed to the ‘Make in India’ philosophy and have successfully designed and manufactured products like Boom Pumps, Self-propelled Boom Pumps and Slipform Pavers. Our endeavour is to develop innovative products to address gaps in the market solutions and products towards import substitution, thereby contributing towards building a stronger and self-reliant nation. We have exported to over 20 countries and would lie to be perceived as the true Indian Multinational in the concrete equipment market. Needless to mention that we are the Global Leaders in SLCM.
Which of your equipment are employed in the Bharatmala project? What are your major contributions in this project?

Our Batching Plants with modular design, quick set-up time, in-house manufactured planetary & twin shaft mixers, is the ideal choice of contractors for all their concrete production needs. And our boom pump with lower owning and operating cost ensuresour customers get value for their investment on our product. Going forward, we will also be having our Self-propelled Boom Pumps and Slipform Paversdeployed in such projects to address tough placement and pavement needs.

Currently we have 35Dealers in India with 100+ touch points, thereby establishing ourselves as the company with the biggest network in the concreting equipment sector in India To serve the exports market, we currently have 17 Distributors strategically located in Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) regions.
The full-fledged team of skilled and trained engineers at our networks, along with availability of spare parts at 100+ locations across India, ensure optimum upkeep of customer machines even at remote job sites. To ensure machine availability at job sites, we undertake maintenance contracts for parts and service. We have a network of 15+ Service Centres across the country at strategic locations, that offer Repair and Overhaul of equipment thereby increasing their economic life.
