We are introducing our own brand Dr. Digger excavator mounted Vibro Hammers during Bauma Conexpo
What products or solutions are you showcasing at this edition of bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024? What is your focus during the exhibition?
We are introducing our own brand, Dr. Digger excavator mounted Vibro Hammers during Bauma Conexpo. These hammers coupled with Straight Booms, Goosenecks and Boom Brackets, can be a very cost-effective solution for sheet piling jobs. World over, Excavator Mounted Vibros are used for 90% of the sheet piling jobs while in India, Crane hanging Vibros are preferred for most sheet piling jobs, which not only consume more fuel but also have higher operating costs and ultimately raise the overall cost of sheet pile driving which invariably impacts the cost of the project. EMV’s are faster to set up and cheaper to run and do the job more efficiently.
We are also showcasing Hand held hydraulic tools for demolition, rock splitting and metal shearing. These are very effective in controlled demolition which tends to be a niche area – in comparison to the overall construction industry. As distributors of equipment for controlled demolition, we supply the right tools and machines for this purpose. Both splitters and crushing tools allow safe controlled demolition of concrete without water, noise, dust or vibration.

What are your expectations for participating in bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024? How do you plan to engage with visitors and stakeholders at the exhibition?
We have never expected any direct business or closures during the show. Our aim is to network, meet new prospective customers and renew relations with the existing ones. Introduce them to our new products, and make our presence felt.
Sustainability is an increasingly important factor in this sector. What is your approach to sustainability, and how does it integrate with your product offerings?
Our main product, Vibro Hammers in itself, helps in reducing energy consumption as they can accomplish the task of driving piles much faster than a Rotary rig or an Impact Hammer. Advanced fuel-efficient engines, Electric versions are all available in the global market but have not been introduced in India as yet due to absence of emission norms for construction equipment. No customer on their own shall opt for green machines owing to higher acquisition and operating costs. Indian Govt needs to bring in emission laws on lines of motor vehicles and wheeled equipment for all construction machinery to usher in the change.
Are there any regulatory or policy changes that you anticipate will impact the construction equipment and allied sector soon?
We are not expecting any change in government policies. Only change that is possible is introduction of emission norms for non-wheeled construction equipment. As most of our products are imported and come from countries who have already implemented emission controls norms, we are already prepared for this policy change, as and when it happens.

What are some of the key factors that you believe will shape the future of the construction equipment and allied industry in India, and how is your company preparing for them considering its expansion plans in India?
India still lacks adequate infrastructure considering the plan to be in top three economies by 2030. To achieve this milestone, India will need to spend billions of dollars in building Infrastructure and that too at breakneck speed. This would require enormous quantity of equipment. Several high-tech equipment is currently not being manufactured in India due to lack of volumes, and as the volumes pick up, these machines will have to be built in india. We are also in the process of setting up assembly facilities to speed up machine deliveries as and when the demand swells up.
