How do you look at the rental market for AWP?

India has a very vibrant AWP rental market, from small to medium to large rental companies each one is focussing on delivering their customers – construction companies, electrical, mechanical contractor’s suitable equipment for working at height. Rental of self-propelled AWP’s have increased immensely over the last decade rapidly due to increased awareness related to its benefits over traditional methods. I feel, some of the factors that contributed to this growth are:

•    Construction companies have realised how it can make work at height much more productive and safer.

•    Many rental companies are adding AWP into their fleet to increase diversity in their product offering to meet customer needs and rental companies preferring AWP since it requires less repair and maintenance comparative to other conventional construction and material handling equipment.

•    Awareness are also being created by OEM’s and its dealer, APAOI (Aerial platform association of India) to increase usage of AWP.

AWP rental market sees huge opportunities both in construction and facility maintenance segment Sectors Airports, metro-rails, high speed rails, convention centres, commercial buildings cement, steel, chemical, engineering, manufacturing industry overall either setting up new factories or expanding capacities.

What type of customer support do you offer, both pre-sale and post-sale?

While our Spiderlift and Railroad boom lifts are fully imported and ready to use, in case of Truck Mounted Platform 25.3 meter working height model, we are importing significant chunk of the machine and then assembling them for mounting on Indian truck chassis.
