What are the level of growth in the company’s projects and how has the business evolved in the last two years?
Since the inception in 2012 Capacit’e has evolved as a major player in the High-rise and Super high- rise building segment by leveraging State of the Art technology and following best international practices in HSE. Over the past couple of years, we have consciously moved from being a developer centric company to doing large value projects in the public sector building infrastructure. In the current scenario where health infrastructure is of paramount importance to the central and state government, Capacit’e has forayed into developing large Multi-Speciality and Super-Speciality hospitals for government and semi-government entities. Capacit’e has earned the distinction for completing Super-Speciality hospital for cancer treatment in a record time of 11 months acknowledged by the India Book of Records.
Sops announced in several geographies have pushed demand for infrastructure projects. What are you seeing on the ground and which pockets stand out for you?
CIL is a building construction company focused on delivering world class projects and other allied infra related to building projects. There is a big search of urban infrastructure projects across India which acts as a catalyst for driving the building construction industry. Most of the metropolitan regions in the country are coming up with various road infrastructure, airports, public transports, metros, railway redevelopments etc., which are both brownfield and Greenfield in nature. All the major Tier 1 cities in India are experiencing this kind of Urban Infrastructure. Hence we are confident that the Real Estate sector will get a boost in the near future.
What is the current scenario of the infrastructure sector, from your point of view?
It is a very positive sign that our country is experiencing massive growth in the infrastructure sector. It is evident that in the last five years there has been a conscious effort by the Indian government to resurrect the infra sector with a 360-degree view namely, Urban Infra, Rural Infra, Telecom connectivity, Power Sector, Modernisation of Airports, Rail Connectivity, building national highways etc. We strongly feel that this massive infrastructure growth prospects in India will surely put us on the global map.
What are the company’s key priorities and focus areas for the coming two to three years?
