What is your range of electric construction equipment produced?

ACE – Action Construction Equipment Ltd. India’s largest Mobile Crane and Tower Crane Company is committed to work towards New Technologies for Cleaner and Greener Environment. ACE has been successfully announcing and leading initiatives supporting the global initiative in order to be aligned with India towards climate neutrality. ACE started his journey on Electric CE by starting manufacturing of Tower Cranes and Electric Forklifts. Over the years, multiple variants were added and are in regular production. In 2021, ACE had launched India’s 1st Made in India Electric Forklift with Lithium-ion battery. Further, the major product programs have been initiated and one of the company’s prime material handling product ‘Pick n Carry Crane’ working prototype “ACE F150-ev 4X4” has been launched during Bauma, India 2023 and further Pilot machine was displayed during Excon, India held in Dec 2023. Company has already set the plan to handover this elite product to the customers.

How do you perceive the market shift towards electric construction equipment?

Automotive electric vehicle industry in India is picking up pace with possibility of 100% FDI, new manufacturing hubs, and increased push to improve charging infrastructure. Federal subsidies and policy favoring deeper discounts for Indian-made electric two-wheelers and Cars as well as a boost for localized ACC battery storage production are other growth drivers for the Indian EV industry.

Growth in Automotive EV and Government push on Cleaner solutions have significant impact on Construction equipment industry and will assist in shifting market towards electric construction equipment. Over the Last few years, Electric forklift market share is increasing as Companies are moving towards Sustainability solutions. It will further enhance after introduction of CEV 5 norms, especially on products having engine up to 50HP as new emission norms will reduce cost delta w.r.t. Electric. Many OEM have already started to manufacture Mini excavator and as informed earlier, ACE is bullish on Electric Pick n Carry cranes. However, CEV industry requires support from Government in FAME 3, subsidy like Automotive EV and GST, RTO waiver in order to expedite Cleaner EV Solutions in Construction Equipment.

What distinguishes your electric equipment from traditional, non-electric models?

ACE Electric models are 100% designed and manufactured in India. Electric models are powered by Lead Acid/Lithium-ion battery and are without Diesel engine as used in non-electric models. Electric forklift and Pick n Carry Cranes are available in both Lead Acid and Lithium-ion battery. There is no other Indian CEV company who has such a wide range of electric equipment. We are committed towards Made in India products for India and World.

What battery technology is utilized in your electric construction equipment?

ACE electric vehicles are available in both Lead Acid & Lithium-ion battery packs.

How does the performance of your electric equipment compare to traditional diesel-powered machinery in terms of power, efficiency, and durability?

Performance of ACE Electric equipment is similar to diesel powered machinery. Electric equipment is designed as per required performance and efficiency. During product development, 100% performance w1s checked as per specified applications. Every product undergoes through intensive testing to ensure excellent durability. 

Give us your initiatives on training provided for operators and maintenance personnel.

ACE has a Dedicated Training Center at Faridabad to provide operation and maintenance training to customer personnel. Regular periodic training courses have been formulated to enhance operator and engineer skill levels. We provide operator training on all our new models. In fact, for every new model or type of machine that we supply, experienced operators give 15 days’ training on the machines. We also ensure onsite training for operating our high-end machines. Hands-on training is provided at our facility in Faridabad on all types of machines, along with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

We have also collaborated with Vishwakarma Skill University to provide Free of Cost certificate training course to machine operators & technicians.
