Doosan Bobcat India.

“We will certainly increase our product offering in the near future as the awareness among the customer’s increases.”

Elaborate on the cab design, and options provided to increase operator comfort?

At Bobcat, we understand that operator comfort has a direct impact on the productivity. Bobcat loaders have more head, waist, and leg and elbow room, to make the operator more comfortable. Also, Bobcat skid-steer loaders have the largest entry/exit area. Our skid-steer loader cabs are designed for all-around visibility. The better sight lines improve your performance in tight areas, such as grading next to a building or loading the machine on a trailer. Bobcat strives to design loaders that allow you to see the wheels without raising the loader arms. Bucket corners are clearly visible from the seat, helping you see the cutting edge for precise work. The loader’s cab-forward design moves the operator closer to the attachment and provides unmatched visibility in all directions. Further visibility enhancements include larger side and rear windows to provide better visibility to the tires and back of the machine.

What are the features in-built to enhance fuel efficiency in your range of skid steers?
A standard feature for larger Bobcat loaders, air conditioning is a new option available in the S450 to keep operators comfortable when the temperatures outside rise. A sealed and pressurized cab helps to keep operators clean and comfortable as they work, sometimes for an extended time, to improve productivity. Bobcat owners may choose between standard foot pedal and hand lever hydraulic controls, the Advanced Control System (ACS) or the selectable joystick controls.

The more compact is the machine, the more are the safety issues. Could you elaborate on the safety features inbuilt in the skid steer range?
When we talk about SSL the concept of bigger is better becomes irrelevant. Bobcat can proudly claim that they are the most fuel-efficient skid loaders in the market today as the power to weight ratio is best in the industry.
The dual path cooling system unique only to Bobcat provides effective engine cooling at extreme working conditions which also increases the fuel efficiency of the engine. The cooling system draws cool, clean air from above and directs it out through two side vents. The radiator and hydraulic oil cooler are located above the engine for ease of access, yet are well-protected between the frame uprights.

Brief us on the range offered by your company.

We currently offer five models of skid steers. Starting with the Bobcat S450 which carries a 49 hp engine and has a rated operating capacity of 608 Kg to the largest skid steer loader ever available in India the Bobcat S770 equipped with a 92 Hp engine and rated operating capacity of 1570 kg. In-between we have the S550, S590, & S650. Close to 40 Bobcat attachments are available for the various skid steer models. We will certainly increase our product offering in the near future as the awareness among the customer’s increases. The shift towards bigger skid steer loaders is certainly happening as the requirement for specialized attachments requiring higher horse power and hydraulic flow is on the increase. Our Bobcat S770 powered by a 92 Hp Kubota engine along with 108-inch grader is proving to be a fantastic offering for the PMGSY road contractors.

Uptime protections on the new Bobcat include efficient machine cooling; a constant tension drive belt; solid steel tailgate; and improved tie downs. A specifically designed rear bumper extends past the tailgate to protect the rear of the Bobcat Loader from obstacles — and related scrapes and bumps — on the worksite.
