What were the key takeaways and highlights from bauma CONEXPO 2024?
bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024 was a landmark event for the construction, mining, and infrastructure industries. The first thing one observes at such shows is the turnout of visitors – and it was quite significant, highly participatory, and better than any previous versions.
• Danfoss team had meaningful business interactions with several OEMs and channel partners and also got networking opportunities with other industry professionals.
• Overall, it was an exciting and productive event for everyone involved, driving forward the future of India’s infrastructure.
What were your company’s insights into technological advancements and product innovations showcased during the event?
Several major trends like Sustainability and Green Technologies, Digitalization and Automation, Smart Construction etc. were highlighted during the show, reflecting the evolving landscape of the industry.
Most of the manufacturers showcased their BSV (Bharat Stage V) range of products, which come into effect from Jan’25. It was interesting to see that apart from complying with the stringent emission norms, these companies have worked extensively on improving the fuel efficiency and performance of the new machine models launched during the show.
Electrification was another major highlight at the show with several OEMs displaying their electric or hybrid range of Cranes, mini excavators, scissor lifts etc. reflecting the industry’s shift towards sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
Such advancements and regulatory changes are not only helping in building R&D and manufacturing capabilities but will also enhance the export potential of Indian manufacturers and promote the adoption of eco-friendly machinery.
Danfoss has been proactively working with these OEMs to co-develop energy-efficient hydraulic solutions that improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
What is your approach to sustainability, and how does it integrate with your product offerings?
