What products or solutions are you showcasing at this edition of bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024? What is your focus during the exhibition? 

As the Indian market is gradually adopting to advanced machinery with growing enthusiasm, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects like bridges, metro systems etc, thus this time we will be focussing on interaction on with our clients and prospective contractors and officials on critical projects and our competitive advantage offerings from the cutting-edge technology embedded in BAUER equipment, especially in our piling rigs, trench cutters, and grab systems. However, we will also be showcasing our high-performance Drilling Tools which is manufactured in India. We are proud to also feature our 1000th tool in this exhibition manufactured in India. 

Sustainability is an increasingly important factor in this sector. What is your approach to sustainability, and how does it integrate with your product offerings?

Sustainability in the infrastructure sector has become a critical focus as global concerns about climate change, resource depletion, and environmental degradation grow, challenging Infrastructure requirements, expanding urbanization etc. Infrastructure—encompassing roads, bridges, buildings, energy systems, and water management facilities—plays a foundational role in economic development and societal well-being. As such, integrating sustainability into infrastructure development is essential to ensure long-term viability. Key aspects of Sustainability are Increasing Efficiency, Increasing Safety, Smart Technology, keeping pace with policy requirements.

Safety first! Our Stability Plus assistance system for more flexibility and safety on the construction site – it compares stability-relevant parameters for our drilling rigs in real time, such as outreach, mast inclination or upper carriage slewing speed. This gives machine operators new possibilities to react more flexibly to site conditions without having to compromise on safety.

Stability Plus does not support the stability but enables new ranges of outreach while taking stability into account. At the push of a button the operator can select the corresponding stability chart (and with this the optimum outreach) according to the equipment used. If a customer buys a new drilling equipment, the new stability file is created, and now it is possible to upload it with remote access onto the rig and have it available immediately.
