TIL, one of the leading providers of a wide range of infrastructure equipment that represent some of the finest in global technology launches Mobiload 315, RT 750 and the new Hyster- TIL ReachStacker.
The Kolkota-based company engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of a comprehensive range of material handling, lifting, port equipment and road building solutions for the Indian market, has introduced the latest pick n carry crane, rough terrain crane, and reachstacker. Duly supported by an integrated after-sales support that is geared to enhancing customer satisfaction TIL is recognized as a market leader in mobile cranes and reachstackers.
MOBILOAD 315
TIL, a market leader in India in higher capacity mobile cranes and material handling equipment – strengthens its foray into the pick-n-carry crane segment with a view to offering material handling customers a next generation pick-n-carry crane that embodies safety, easy operability, easy maintenance, application suitability and competitive total cost of ownership. It is the latest entrant from TIL in the pick-n-carry crane segment. It has a maximum capacity of 15 MT at 2.5 m radius over front for pick-n-carry operations and 8 MT at 2.5 m radius for 360o slew on-tyre duties. The Mobiload 315 features a 4 section boom with extended length reaching upto 17 m. The first 3 sections are fully powered and fully synchronized and the 4th section is power-positioned. There is an optional 5m jib extension, allowing for a total boom tip height of 24 m. Twin tyres on both front and rear allows for stable and strong on-rubber performance. Right hand front wheel drive and steer feature and the rigid chassis design give the machine a unique automotive feel and unmatched mobility. Continuous 360o slew is another unique feature that allows for efficient load handling. The ergonomically designed single man cabin enables the carriage of long items on the carry deck, subject to a maximum of 2 tonnes at a road speed of 15 kilometres per hour. The machine features an electronic load moment indicator to ensure safe operations. The engine is BS III CEV compliant.
“The launch of Mobiload, the versatile pick–n-carry crane epitomizing productivity, superior technology and performance, is a game changing initiative by TIL in the 15T mobile crane segment. The machine is ideal for rental, construction, mining, shipping, oil refineries, heavy industries and engineering sectors in India,” stated Pinaki Niyogy, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, TIL.
RT 750
TIL holds the distinction of rolling out the first indigenously manufactured rough terrain crane in India from its Kolkata factory. With RT 750, the Company makes yet another addition to its impressive line-up of products- that demonstrates the company’s manufacturing prowess.
The RT 750 is the latest addition to the comprehensive range of rough terrain cranes from TIL. It has a maximum capacity of 50 MT at 2.5 m radius with 360o slew on outriggers and 12 MT with 360o slew on tyres. The carrier has 4×4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer. Stand-out feature of this crane is the 5 section formed boom having an extended length of 41.3 m. Maximum boom tip height of 53.3 m can be reached with an optional 10.1 m lattice extension. The ergonomically designed, full-vision type operator’s cabin – located on the right hand side – provides fatigue free operation and excellent visibility. The engine is BS III CEV compliant. Rough terrain cranes from TIL are compact and highly maneuverable, which make them performance-worthy for rough terrains and applications.
Hyster-TIL® ReachStacker
India has a growing market for port and container handling equipment. With increasing containerization in India, development of dedicated logistics parks for handling containerized cargo and the growing thrust on developing container terminals along the east and west coasts of India, it is expected that significant new opportunities will open up for container handling equipment. Tapping the potential Hyster-Yale Group Inc. and TIL presented Hyster-TIL® ReachStacker, the new model for everyday container handling applications. This has been developed specifically to meet the demands of ports and other tough container handling applications in growing markets. “The new Hyster TIL® RS45 is here to set a standard in low cost of ownership. However, there is no compromise on Hyster’s principles of durability and toughness,” stated Rajesh Wazarkar, Managing Director, Hyster-Yale Lift Trucks India. “These trucks offer the same quality components, durability and toughness as any Hyster® Big Truck, alongside intelligent Hyster design to deliver lower fuel consumption and longer tyre life,” Wazarkar added. To optimise effectiveness, the new truck features a powerful Cummins QSL9 Stage IIIA engine/Tier 3 in combination with a Spicer off-highway TE-27 transmission. In addition to the well-tuned Cummins engine, Hyster has developed technologies such as cooling on demand, load sensing hydraulics with Variable Displacement Pump (VDP) technology, automatic throttle-up, integrated power train and optional empty seat engine shutdown, which help to further reduce total fuel consumption. The durable frame and boom have been developed using extensive analysis and testing with the RS45-31CH model giving 45 T in first row, 31T in the second row, and 15T in the third.
The longer wheel base with 8% reduction in total weight results in extended tyre life. Developed to be the ‘work horse’ of applications focused on efficient every day container handling, the truck will be available in two versions, RS 45-27 and RS45-31. In 2008, TIL forged a partnership with Hyster-Yale, a global leader in counterbalance forklift trucks and warehousing solutions to offer a comprehensive range of high-capacity forklift trucks, empty and laden container handlers and reachstackers to its customers in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Hyster reachstackers manufactured at TIL are also sold by Hyster-Yale to customers in the Asia Pacific region.
“The Hyster-TIL partnership brings together two leading companies with complementary strategic visions and product technologies, reinforced by a shared commitment to enhance customer profitability. This unrivalled partnership has a singular objective – to meet all your material handling needs. The reach stackers are built at TIL’s factory in Kharagpur, West Bengal, India as per Hyster design and stringent quality standards in line with those produced at Hyster’s Nijmegen plant in the Netherlands. With confidence in the quality of TIL-built ReachStackers, we are happy to put the Hyster logo on these products,” commented Wazarkar.
“The new RS 45 will not only be ‘Made in India’ but also partly developed in India. The local manufacturing by TIL provides distinct competitive advantages to its customers – by reducing delivery lead times and improving total cost of ownership. In addition, customers are also able to access door step aftermarket support through a pan-Indian distribution network. The Hyster-TIL reachstacker has already become a preferred choice for customers in India and already gained significant market share in the reachstacker market in India within a short span of time,” Niyogy added.
