Best in Class Digging Depth
The Bobcat B900 comes equipped with maximum digging depth compared to other backhoe loaders in its class, making it the best performer in its class.
Optimized Design for Fuel Efficiency & Component Durability
The B900 design has been optimised for better fuel efficiency and component durability. It is powered by the popular fuel efficient Kirloskar Engine, which helps in better fuel savings.
The optimised design also helps B900 to achieve better performance even at lower Engine at lower revolutions per minute making it efficient and help save on fuel. The machine can be operated at Economy mode at 1400 RPM for light duty application. It can be run at power mode at 1500 RPM for tasks that are demanding.
Durability
B900 is equipped with Industry’s best and proven components for durability, higher performance and reduced maintenance. Major structural items of B900 are manufactured inhouse in Bobcat Manufacturing Facility at Chennai, and have been reinforced to enhance life. The Hydraulic Hose Distribution Box is a unique feature provided in B900 Backhoe hydraulic circuit which increases the life of hydraulic hoses and also reduces leakages and down time.
The B900 offers Best in Class Breakout Forces and Higher Performance
B900 offers around 7-10% higher breakout forces. Higher breakout forces helps in increased capability for working in hard ground excavation, higher dozing and loading performance.

- A heavy duty Carraro Transmission and Rear Axle offers higher torque, and higher drawbar pull.
- Front axle is provided with balanced cylinders for better steering performance and 16 degree Oscillation for better performance at uneven terrains.
- Higher Ground Clearance allows B900 to perform better even when the surface is rough and is undulated. Higher ground clearance also helps in protecting power train components from damages.
- Best in class front wheel turning radius higher maneuverability and best performance to work in confined areas.
- Large cooling package and more efficient cooling fan helps in working long hours without overheating issues and helps in long life of components.
Comfortable Operator Cabin
Operator cabin is one of major consideration in B900 design. Spacious operator cabin with ergonomic controls and operator convenient features makes B900 a preferred choice for comfortable operation. The cabin has stylish and dynamic design which provides all round visibility for the operator from working position. It has an adjustable suspension seat provided as standard feature for enhanced operator comfort. Besides that large side view mirrors and additional rear view mirror improves rear visibility for more convenient and safe operation.
The B900 Cabin also has large storage box and smartly designed storage compartments in the front and side panels for ideal storage and more keeping areas. It also has standard MP3 Music Player and cabin fan provided for operator comfort.
Advanced Hydraulics System
B900 Hydraulics is equipped with Parker Tandem Gear Pump with advanced Hydraulic System that automatically redirects hydraulic flow to tank when hydraulic functions are in neutral mode. When there is higher hydraulic pressure requirement, flow from second pump is redirected to tank to reduce the load on engine. These advanced hydraulic features reduce power consumption from engine to ensure high fuel efficiency.
