How do you view the Bauma Expo this year compared to earlier versions?

The Bauma Expo has been exceptionally well-organized this year, with remarkable participation. Footfall was particularly impressive on Day 2 and Day 3, making it challenging to meet all the customers who visited our stand. Day 2 was especially overwhelming in terms of crowd size, while Day 3 remained busy but more manageable. Although Day 1 started relatively slow, it gained momentum as the day progressed. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the response and the exposure we received at this year’s exhibition.

What products have you displayed at this year’s Bauma Expo?

This year, we showcased five innovative products, all of which are new launches across various brands:

1.   Franna Pick and Carry Crane: A newly launched 25-ton crane designed for versatile applications.

2.   Evoquip Cobra 290R Tracked Impact Crusher: India’s first track-mounted impact crusher—a unique offering for the Indian Market

3.   Powerscreen Electric Machines: Versatile machines capable of running on electricity or external generator, ensuring operational flexibility.

4.   Finlay Electric Machines: Similar to Powerscreen, these machines offer the ability to operate on electricity while maintaining the mobility of a track plant.

5.   Terex MPS MTJ 55 Jaw Crusher: A compact, high-capacity jaw module designed to handle up to 500 tons per hour with minimal civil work requirements.

These products reflect our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions tailored to diverse industries and applications.

What differentiates your company from the competition?

Our unwavering focus on innovation sets us apart. At Bauma Show, we showcased multiple new machines across diverse brands and industries, highlighting our leadership and versatility. This commitment to innovation not only solidifies our position as a leader in the crushing and screening equipment industry but also drives our rapid growth in the lifting category. By consistently delivering cutting-edge solutions, we stay ahead of the competition and provide unparalleled value to our customers.

India is a price-sensitive market. How do you balance cost and quality with rising production costs?

Balancing cost and quality are critical, but we never compromise on quality. All products manufactured in India adhere to the same global standards as those exported worldwide. Approximately 40% of what we produce in our Indian factories is exported globally, ensuring consistent quality across markets. To manage production costs, we focus on lean manufacturing processes, digitized operations, and continuous innovation to improve efficiency. This approach enables us to deliver high-quality machines with the right features for the Indian market at competitive prices.

How do you feel about the rising trend of electric machines in the Indian market?

The adoption of electric machines is accelerating rapidly in India. Customers are increasingly seeking electric solutions, and we are addressing this demand by introducing more electric machines. For instance, three out of the five machines we displayed at the Expo are electric. Powerscreen and Finlay electric machines provide customers the flexibility to run on electricity, reducing reliance on fossil fuels. This focus on electric machines demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and innovation, aligning with evolving market needs.
