The Eastern Peripheral Expressway state-of-the-art road rareness and unique by its arrangement to provide major relief to Delhi – NCR from vehicular pollution. It is a green field expressway with solar power arrangement to provide power to illuminate the underpasses below the expressway. The fully access controlled six-lane expressway provides entry and exit designated interchanges only. The expressway is powered by solar panels with 8 solar power plants on this expressway having a capacity of 4000-kilowatt (4 MW).

Provision of several amenities include retail fuel outlets, rest rooms, motels, restaurants; shops etc. apart from monuments replicas pertain to Ashoka Lion, Ashoka Chakra, Konark Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Gateway of India, Qutab Minar, Char Minar, Lal Quila, Kirti Stambh, India Gate, Hawa Mahal and Gujarat Carving is part of the uniqueness of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Extra manpower and machineries deployed and work was done day and night to complete this project in the record time keeping very high quality of work.  Thus saving 40% of construction activity.

The state-of-the-art road will have auto challans for over-speeding, with cameras that will capture speed of vehicles, besides it will have provisions of tolling only for the distance travelled. The expressway has been equipped with iconic toll plazas. It is equipped with smart and intelligent highway traffic management system (HTMS) and video incident detection system (VIDS) and it is a benchmark in highway construction by being environment-friendly with world-class safety features and smart/interactive infrastructure.

Highly sensitive weigh-in motion sensor installed on all entry points which will ensure that over-loaded vehicles are not allowed to enter the Expressway.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) will bring another tangible benefit—a saving of thousands of crores of money in terms of traffic congestion during peak hours in Delhi – NCR

Eastern Peripheral expressway is fully access control road and elevated corridor with nearly 11 lakh tonnes of cement, 1 lakh tonnes of steel, 3.6 crore cum earthwork and 1.2 cr cum fly-ash.

All modern equipment with high capacity such as slip from paver for rigid pavement, high capacity loader used in this projects to complete before time.

We have introduced new technology in this project for equipment movement i.e. leveraging technology for improved project execution and equipment utilization. We have already deployed an elaborate IoT system for monitoring all plants, machinery, equipment and vehicles, as well as mobile apps for project reporting in five major highway projects.
