What are the products you have launched at Excon?
In this exhibition, we proudly unveiled five innovative products. Leading the pack is our hydrostatic wheel loader, boasting 3-ton bucket capacity. Remarkably, this marks only the second hydrostatic transmission wheel loader made in India in this category. Its cutting-edge design promises enhanced fuel efficiency and seamless speed control. Adding to our lineup, we introduce an 11-ton vibratory roller featuring an optional drum drive. Furthermore, our release includes three new models of self-loading mixers. The first, a 2.5 cubic meter capacity mixer equipped with a 49 HP BS3 Engine, slashing fuel consumption by an impressive 25 % compared to the competition.
Additionally, we launched the 4.2L, a lighter variant of the 4.3 cubic meter self-loading mixer. . This model operates efficiently with a 74 HP engine, ensuring higher returns for owners, reduced fuel consumption by optimizing performance, and contributing to environmental preservation without requiring add blue.
Lastly, our 4.3 cubic meter mixer features a specialized drum design tailored for low slump concrete and high flow discharge, offering unparalleled versatility for various applications.
You are one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in India. How do you see industry growth and how do you see KYB Conmat in this transformation?
I take immense pride in stating that all our equipment are meticulously crafted, designed, and manufactured within our own factory. Our team comprises of numerous skilled Indian engineers who dedicate themselves to the development of these machines. We strongly believe, the day is not far when Atmanirbhar Bharat will rightfully earn the title of “Sone ki Chidiya” (Golden Bird), and we are earnestly committed to contributing our utmost efforts towards that vision.
Which are the markets you are looking at with respect to exports?
We export these machines to Far East, Middle East, South-East, Africa, and we are getting a very good response from our customers in these regions.
Which are the markets for the product you have launched in Excon?
We are looking to supply the new equipment to abovementioned markets, apart from India.,
Y-o-Y what is your growth?
We are growing at a CAGR of 10 to 15%. Now we expect better growth because of the introduction of new machines.
With regards to the training and skilling aspect what are the new initiatives?
We provide comprehensive training to operators, enhancing their proficiency in operating our machinery. In addition to providing training at our factory, we conduct training camps at customer sites and our regional centers. Our commitment revolves around enhancing operator skills, continually striving to enhance their capabilities.
India is a very cost centric market. How do you balance between cost and quality of your product?
India is an inherently cost-conscious market, but our approach is to provide technologically advance, yet cost effective products to our customers. We’ve consistently prioritized operational advancements and technology upkeep, believing firmly that there’s a market in India for high-quality products. Our approach isn’t to engage in cutthroat competition, but to provide our customers with technologically advanced products. We do not want just to borrow technology from so called developed countries, but keep our focus on developing superior technology indigenously, for India and for the world.
How is the response for Excon this year?
This year has been exceptionally promising on several fronts. Our new launches have captured significant attention, drawing in a multitude of interested customers. The footfall has been notably encouraging, and we anticipate that the enquiries will keep increasing post exhibition, mirroring the usual trend of past exhibitions.
