Comansa

Comansa took part in the ConExpo-Con/Agg trade show in Las Vegas, United States, which was held from 10 to 14 March, 2020. The tower crane manufacturer’s stand number was F5803 in the Festival Grounds outdoors area, at Las Vegas Convention Center.

The trade show, which is held every 3 years, is one of the most important in the construction sector worldwide and this year featured 2,800 exhibitors covering an area of more than 230,000 square meters. It is a very well attended event that brings together leading international manufacturers, professionals, distributors and engineers.

Those visiting the Comansa stand will be able to find out about the LCL310 luffing-jib crane, specifically its 18-tonne maximum load version, which will be exhibited during the show. Its maximum jib length is 60 metres, and the different configurations allow for maximum jib steps every 5m. This luffing-jib crane, with its compact design and reduced out of service radius, is ideal for use in cities or congested building sites.

During the trade show, at its stand Comansa exhibited the CUBE cab, winner of the prestigious iF prize in 2018 and that comes as standard in most of Comansa’s cranes. It combines a new design, comfort and maximum productivity, as well as innovative advantages in terms of ergonomics and features.

Comansa will also promote the latest versions of its cranes developed over the last year, especially its new 21LC1050 and 21LC1400 models, with maximum load capacities of up to 50 and 66 tonnes respectively, which will improve productivity and enhance options in a market that is focussed on large flat-top tower cranes.

Similarly, the new Quick Set system will be introduced. This is a new technology designed to simplify the commissioning of cranes. With Quick Set, the set up and calibration times have been significantly reduced using a system that leads to easier, safer and more intuitive adjustments, achieving faster and less labour-intensive calibration. This smart development is the result of so much experience gained over the years and is readily available across the entire 21LC range and, during 2020, it will be expanded to the 11LC and 16LC ranges.

This new edition in 2020 will be the sixth consecutive time that Comansa has exhibited at ConExpo. Comansa has local presence since 2002, providing sales, after-sales, engineering and training services in Northern America. Its American Headquarter is located in Pineville, near Charlotte, North Carolina, where it also has a large warehouse to house components and spare parts, as well as technical training rooms for better customer service, and has subsidiaries in Washington and Texas.

MB Crusher America Doubles Up At CONEXPO 2020

Silver Lot – Booth #S5003 at Conexpo 2020, three of a kind, enthralled visitors by simply attaching units to the heavy machinery to make work simpler. Where there is the need to reduce, select, move and grind materials, MB Crusher units are there. The units attached directly to the heavy machinery saves special haulage money, enhancing the use of the existing fleet, and last but not least, changing the way to work by processing material directly on-site avoiding its haulage, hence saving money and time. A jaw crusher bucket BF120.4 and a screener bucket MB-S18 reduces and sifts material, and the show was completed with the newest line: the shafts screener. The product’s advantages are the interchangeable shafts that allow a single unit to work with different materials, a unique solution for dump soil, asphalt, dry wood, compost and much more.

CASE Crawler Excavator CX220C: Built for Indian terrain

CASE India launched its first ever excavator CX 220C at the biggest construction equipment event in Asia -Excon 2019 in December. CASE Construction Equipment’s Crawler Excavator CX220C is specially designed for tough applications. It is a machine built for Indian terrain and delivers maximum productivity through lower fuel costs and faster cycle times.

Salient features / High Efficiency

The operating weight of CX220C excavator is 22 tons and it is equipped with the renowned FPT 6-cylinder, electronically controlled engine. It develops a gross power of 117 KW (157 hp) and peak torque of 622 Nm at 1800 rpm. The CX220C is powered by the fuel efficient FPT (Fiat Power Train) engine. This world-renowned engine is designed to boost machine performance and optimize fuel economy. The FPT engine delivers outstanding power and torque that reduces the transient time making the hydraulic system immediately reactive to any load. Fuel consumption can be constantly monitored by the operator through the new ECO gauge function – that displays real time energy savings.

Precision and Controllability

The machine is highly suitable for stone quarry, road works, general construction and earthwork. The proven CASE Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS) delivers impressive machine control with unrivalled energy and fuel savings in all cycle time phases. Two variable displacement axial piston pumps with regulating system are combined with the CASE main valve, designed in Japan for fine, precise and efficient operations. The Hydraulic system is governed by a Machine Control Unit which collects input from pressure sensors located on pumps, main valve and pilot lines. The Machine Control Unit contentiously dialogue with the Engine Control Unit to optimize machine output at any moment in any condition.

Reliability and Strength

Robust design with increased plate thickness on structures and attachments improves the durability of the excavator.
