What is the current market trend or which are the sector driving the demand for Motor Graders in India?
The sectors that drive the demand for motor graders in the current market are the national highways, rural road development, mining, and haul road maintenance. The current market trends and government policies support the demand from the sectors above and most our customers have been from these sectors with rising demands coming from rural road development at a slow pace.
How do you see a growth in the use of Motor Graders in terms of rural road construction?
We believe that the rural road construction sector has rich potential for motor graders, which is why we have given it high priority in product development and research. To cater to the already existing demands of the sector, we have introduced our motor grader GR1003 which has been specifically designed for the needs of our customers from rural road development projects.
How do you look at the design changes in Motor Graders for different applications?
There are three main categories in our product design of motor graders. The major difference in these product ranges is the different sizes of mold board available for our customers, such as, for rural applications we have 10 ft. mold boards, for national highway construction and similar applications we have launched medium range 12 ft. mold boards, and for large scale mining applications we have range of bigger mold boards from sizes 12 – 16 ft.
What are your views on Motor Graders that are used in mining? What are the features supporting mining applications?
Mining applications require much torque and variable horse power to keep the operational costs down. With the customer requirements coming in with the same requirements, our machines have been loaded with variable horsepower options, safety features like ROPS (Roll over protection), FOPS (Fall over protection system) and rear camera which also makes the process hazard free and hassle free for the operators.
What are the innovative technology trends in Motor Graders?
The innovations in the field of motor graders mainly pertain to the inclusion of variable horsepower features to cut down fuel costs, safety features for operator safety and efficiency and telematics features to monitor the motor grader.
Can you brief us about the latest Motor Graders and solutions from your company?
We had recently introduced a new model of motor grader to the market titled GR 1705, a premium category machine loaded with the most advanced features in the industry. This model delivers variable horsepower features with safety options like ROPS, FOPS and even fire safety making it one of the best machines in the market right now.
