Over last few years, Dynapac India has taken significant steps towards promoting gender equality and creating a more inclusive workplace. These initiatives have included policies aimed at recruiting, retaining and promoting women, providing equal pay and benefits, and fostering a culture that values diversity and inclusivity.

The journey for Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) program began when we started to participate in global forums for learning as well training on the subject matter. Dynapac participated with the 1st Batch of Task Force – Kraftsamla with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for a program on building truly inclusive organization.

The program was focused on topics related to bias, privilege, and inclusion. It also involved setting goals for increasing representation of women in leadership positions, and establishing programs and policies that support work-life balance, flexibility and other issues that disproportionately affect women.

The learnings from the workshop has been instrumental for us in taking significant steps towards promoting gender equality.

Since times immemorial, heavy engineering industries are being perceived to be predominantly driven by the Male Workforce, Dynapac as an organization is trying to break the biases now by advertising gender neutral job roles with a strong emphasis on Skill & Competence levels of the applicant.

We have a strong focus towards gender neutral recruitment and onboarding process. We have onboarded female employees across various streams of Engineering, Operations, Assembly, IT & Support Functions. We are constantly working towards implementing mentorship and sponsorship programs that connect female employees with senior leaders and provide them with guidance and support to help them advance in their careers.

Another key initiative for promoting gender equality is to ensure that there is equal pay and benefits for all employees, regardless of gender. This involves conducting regular pay equity audits to identify and address any pay gaps between male and female employees, and ensuring that women have access to the same benefits and opportunities as their male counterparts.

Overall, promoting gender equality is a sustained and concerted effort of Dynapac and our leaders. By implementing policies and programs that support gender equality and fostering a more inclusive workplace culture, Dynapac aims to continuously create a more equitable and supportive environment for all employees, and promote greater diversity and innovation in the organization.
