With the burgeoning momentum in India’s infrastructure construction equipment sector and significant growth among all OEMs in recent years, our aspiration is to ascend to the second position in the near future, aligning with this upward trajectory. How does your company anticipate its growth amidst this expanding landscape?

Absolutely, our Transport Minister, Shri. Nitin Gadkari, has a remarkably clear vision. He’s unequivocally outlined the imperative of constructing 45 kilometers of roads daily. This ambitious goal has been a driving force behind the flourishing state of our infrastructure market. As equipment manufacturers expand, entities like ours in the components manufacturing sector are poised for substantial growth. We anticipate a significant upswing over the next five years, positioning ourselves to excel in this thriving landscape.

If you want to gauge India in comparison to the European and Asian markets, how can you gauge India market?

Europe and India offer distinct perspectives on the future. In Europe, the future seems imminent, not just in the next five years, but in the very next day. Conversely, India is experiencing a significant boom. Beyond merely 45 kilometers of roads, India is witnessing rapid growth in new airports, cities, and infrastructure. Contrastingly, Europe presents a different scenario. Here, growth extends in various directions, notably spurred by construction, a catalyst that sets off a chain reaction of activities. However, Europe’s approach differs; it relies heavily on the diverse strategies of its constituent countries, with a handful leading the economy. In contrast, India functions as a unified whole, striving for uniform growth across all states—more akin to a continent than a single country.

India’s transformative journey involves a shift to the next level, evidenced by the remarkable surge in manufacturing earthmoving and mining equipment—a feat unparalleled by any other nation, including Europe or any Asian country. Foreseeably, India’s trajectory suggests it may soon secure not just the third spot but potentially elevate to the second position globally.

The shift is towards green. They are talking about sustainable products. OEMs are demanding sustainable components. You have launched few products which are sustainable towards green. Can you throw some light on it?

To minimize the environmental impact of our activities, we at Filtrec Bharat Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. strongly believe in the concept of ‘sustainable product, sustainable process, and sustainable people,’ which starts from the sourcing of raw materials and manpower and encompasses production, transportation, usage, and end-of-life disposal. With increasing awareness and value systems, all our products are made with eco-friendly consciousness. For EXCON-23, we have launched the “Complete Hydraulic Filters Kits – Excavator,” which helps the end-user to change their filters once a year compared to the previous practice of 2 or 3 changes per year. Hence, the end customer spends less and procures a minimal number of filters, positively impacting the environment. In addition to this, our filters effectively absorb dirt in hydraulic oil with 99.99% accuracy, enabling them to stay clean for a longer time.

As the growing market is India certainly. Which are the countries you export from India?

Presently, our primary focus lies on India and its neighboring regions, accounting for about 95-98% of our operations. This concentration stems from our relatively recent establishment in India, a vast country where we prioritize exploring local opportunities. India has now emerged as a potential supplier for our global clientele, especially those with a presence across multiple countries. Our vision extends toward India becoming a manufacturing hub, not only for nearby nations but potentially for entire continents and global projects catering to our worldwide customers. While our current emphasis remains firmly on establishing a significant presence in the hydraulic filtration market within India, our trajectory may diversify in the future. As we aspire to become a major player in this sector, our gaze remains fixed on India, yet we anticipate a shift in direction as we progress forward.

Is there anything else that you would like to add?

The market potential is exceptionally high, capable of catering to everyone’s needs. Not only is the market experiencing significant growth, but it’s crucial for us to align with its demands, staying ahead of customers’ evolving needs and integrating technology. Our nation has become increasingly technology-driven, witnessing a notable shift in mindset over the past decade, including changing government expectations. I strongly identify with Fitrec Bharat’s vision, and we must emulate it. Investing in technology is imperative, with a focus on R&D as 5% of Fitrec’s commitment, as this stands as the future, mirroring the trajectory of India’s progress.
