What are your plans for buama CONEXPO INDIA in terms of product display?
We would be displaying all our highly efficient & relaibale products used for road construction & material handling Industry. Special focus on our Maxxdrive which is assembled now in India.
From your company’s perspective, please offer your views of bauma CONEXPO INDIA as a business generating platform for the CE sector and what do your feel are the strengths of the exhibition?
Its always been good to participate in Bauma fair as it gives a large platform to showcase our company and also chance to interact with end customers as well in this sector. For us both our OEM End customers are available here and hence it’s a important platform for us in CE sector.
How do you look at the current market in India for your range of products?
Present market conditions looks good for our products including our heavy duty Maxxdrive. With extensive knowledge of applications and technical demand for the sector, we can offer a full featured drive from a single source consisting of gear units, motors, brakes and frequency inverters. With wide range of products with high quality we can offer system solutions for various applications like storage, conveying, weighing & metering, loading and unloading etc.
How have the sales been for the company this year, and given the ongoing and upcoming building and infrastructural opportunities, what are your sales projections for FY23?
Sales for 2022 has been good and we have registered growth of 18% over 2021 sales nos. And continuing the same we are expecting the similar growth even in 2023 and crossing INR 300 Crores.
What are the emerging technological trends in your range of gears and motors?
We believe in gathering experience and actually addressing the challenges that are faced in any industry sector. Our R&D is continuously working towards proving solutions to typical applications in this industry. On these lines, we have come up separate range of IGUs with MAXXDRIVE XT. These are reliable drive units with maximum thermal and mechanical load capacities with greatly increased bearing life are necessary in material handling technology for transporting bulk materials. To achieve the maximum thermal load capacity, the perfect contour of the gear unit housing was developed with the aid of CFD analysis and the air flow of the integrated axial fan was optimized to achieve a highly efficient cooling effect. This avoids any external cooling required. The range starts from 15000Nm and goes upto 75000 Nm covering a wide range of applications for bulk material handling. NORD is also developing products in line with Industry 4.0 to increase reliability and help in planned maintenance of the complete drive system including gear unit, motor, frequency inverter.
How do you access the future potential for gear motors in the Indian market?
India along with producing machines also has its own consumption and this give immense opportunities in the market. Now with automation and new markets opening up we are positive about Indian market.
