Our international sales make up a significant portion of our total sales and we continue to invest in our international operations
The construction market is projected to grow at a faster rate as the government is implementing major reforms in the infrastructure sector. India is the 2nd largest aggregate consumer in the world. Construction industry is very fragmented in India, mostly dominated by local players and small captive players who own small quarries and low capacity plants. We are prominently targeting small quarry owners and small road contractor who own excavators and backhoe loader who want to be independent in his job. Hence we are anticipating tremendous growth in our product demand.

Can you brief us on your export market?
We’ve been seeing a lot of interest in our products from international markets lately. In fact, we’ve sold quite a few machines to customers in neighbour countries in the past few months. We think people are really starting to see the potential of MB machines and are increasingly eager to get their hands on the latest and greatest technology. MB is definitely leading the charge when it comes to innovation in Crushing and Screening space, so it’s no surprise that we’re seeing such strong demand from overseas markets. International sales are an important part of our business. Our international sales make up a significant portion of our total sales and we continue to invest in our international operations. We are confident that our international sales will continue to grow in the future.
Customers are becoming focused on green initiatives and savings in fuel costs and leaving a lesser carbon footprint. Could you please help us understand the green initiatives on product development undertaken by your organisation?

We have dedicated R&D team at Headquarter which is constantly looking for new ways to improve our product line up.

We want our customers to be happy with their purchase, and we will do whatever we can to make sure that they are.
What typical challenges do you think the industry would face if we have to move to complete electric offering for the customers?
The industry would face many challenges if it had to move to complete electric offering for the customers. The most important challenge would be ensuring that there is enough electricity to fulfil total demand. This would require a major investment in infrastructure, such as power plants and connectivity to each and every part of India. Additionally, electric equipment require a different infrastructure than traditional diesel equipment, in terms of Motors and Battery Pack. Creating huge amount of battery packs require a huge amount of natural resource like lithium, graphite, cobalt, and manganese.
With the heavy increase in the expenditure for infrastructure development in this country, how do you think you are going to utilise the opportunity? Are you planning to add more products in the future?
With the heavy increase in government expenditure on infrastructure development, there are bound to be plenty of opportunities for businesses that are able to take advantage of the situation. We at MB invest heavily in R&D. On the back of 10 years’ worth of India specific data thanks to our direct presence in the country, we have enhanced aspects of our machine to better fit Indian requirements. Our portfolio’s unparalleled breadth allows us to be a one stop solution for utility enhancement attachments and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to cater Indian market.
