A 54-year young entrepreneur. She had been on the periphery of the CE Industry after getting married into it more than 30 years ago, the only knowledge She had of it was whatever snatches She overheard, from her husband, Mr. Sunil Newatia conversed at home. Her stint with Construction Equipment business started few years back in 2019, when She joined business in the capacity of Director, Operations.

It took few months to familiarize herself with the working of the Company and the Industry. While her colleagues were extremely cooperative and supportive, the customers were always very circumspect when talking to her, which she felt because her being a woman and they felt awkward talking business with her. The OEM representatives were very understanding and patient, more so when a service issue stump’s her since She had no knowledge on the technical aspects of the machines.

She had built a backend team which is almost 75% women. Her constant endeavor is to encourage them to understand the technical side of the business as well and they are flourishing well on it.
