What are the current trends in the mining equipment market that you believe are shaping the industry?
The mining equipment market in India is being shaped by trends like increased automation, digitization, and a shift towards sustainable mining practices. Surface mining is expanding, particularly for coal and iron ore, while productivity-enhancing and cost-efficient equipment is in high demand to meet growing operational challenges. Additionally, private investments and policy reforms, including 100% FDI, are fostering technological advancements and driving growth, particularly in sectors like coal and rare earth elements, positioning the industry for future development.
What products or solutions are you showcasing at this edition of IMME? What is your focus during the exhibition?
At this edition of IMME, Hyva is showcasing its innovative Digital Tipping Solution Guide (DTS Guide), designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of tipping operations. DTS also indicates the payload transported. The DTS Guide addresses common tipping truck mishaps caused by issues like instability, uneven ground, improper load distribution, and human errors such as tiredness or distraction. Our focus during the exhibition is to demonstrate how DTS empowers both drivers and fleet managers, making tipping safer, more efficient, and easier to monitor with our cloud features.
How does your company differentiate itself from competitors in the mining and machinery sector?
Hyva differentiates itself in the mining machinery sector through a combination of innovation, reliability, and customer-centric solutions. Alongside our innovative DTS Guide we continuously invest in developing products that meet evolving customer needs, such as our U-shaped and exhaust heated Tipper Bodies. These bodies, designed for maximum payload capacity, faster discharge, and longer lifespan with minimal maintenance, are setting new standards in efficiency and sustainability. With 45 years of expertise in hydraulics and a reputation for reliability and innovation operating in 110+ countries, Hyva is also known for its exceptional after-sales service in India. Our industry-leading network ensures an average response time of less than 4 hours and restoration within 24 hours, offering unmatched support to customers. This holistic approach allows Hyva to stay ahead of the competition in delivering value and performance.
In what ways do your products address environmental concerns and sustainability during mining operations?
At Hyva India, sustainability is at the core of our product innovations for mining operations. Our U-shaped Tipper Bodies are designed with a lighter weight structure and reduction of welding in manufacturing process that maximizes payload capacity while reducing energy and material consumption leads to lower carbon emissions. This design also promotes faster material discharge and improving operational efficiency, which further reduces the environmental impact. Additionally, our DTS Guide help optimize the tipping process, reducing the risk of mishaps and equipment wear, thus extending the lifespan of machinery and reducing waste. With over 45 years of expertise, Hyva’s hydraulic systems are engineered for durability and low maintenance, which not only extends the lifespan of equipment but also minimizes the need for frequent replacements, reducing waste. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our manufacturing processes, as some of our plants are operating on solar power and some are in transitioning phase to solar power to further reduce emissions. By integrating energy-efficient technology and durable, low-maintenance designs, Hyva is committed to supporting environmentally responsible and safe mining practices that contribute to long-term sustainability.
What are your expectations for participating in IMME 2024? How do you plan to engage with visitors and stakeholders at the exhibition? Are there any specific goals or outcomes you are hoping to achieve from this event?
At IMME 2024, Hyva India aims to showcase our innovative solutions that drive sustainability, safety, and efficiency in the mining sector. Our expectations are to engage with industry leaders, customers, and stakeholders to highlight the impact of our DTS Guide, apart from Hydraulic wetkits and cylinders, tipper bodies and other spares that maximises fleets’ productivity. We plan to interact with visitors through live demonstrations, detailed product presentations, and technical discussions, emphasizing how our products address key industry’s challenges. Our goals are to strengthen relationships with existing partners, explore new business opportunities, and gain valuable insights into evolving market needs. We hope to establish Hyva as a leader in sustainable mining solutions and set the stage for future collaborations that drive innovation across the industry.
What future trends do you foresee in mining, and how is your company preparing for these changes? What are the major challenges and opportunities in mining equipment space?
The mining sector faces several challenges, including rising operational costs, and the need for compliance with environmental regulations. We anticipate increased automation, a focus on sustainability, and the integration of advanced technologies to drive operational efficiency and safety as trends that will shape the industry’s future. Hyva is preparing for these changes by investing in innovative solutions which are designed to enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability. We are also investing in digital capabilities through DTS platform to provide customers with real-time data and analytics, helping them optimize operations and navigate these trends effectively.
