Wirtgen’s 1.3 m class front loading milling machine is a perfect option for removal of defected surface.
Existing four lane highway from Ajmer to Udaipur is section of one of the most commercially active NH in India as it caters to heavy loaded trucks and trailers of north-western corridor. Ajmer Udaipur section is presently with surface defects, distresses and rough patches with potholes which need to be fixed with permanent solution. An overlay would increase road levels and extra load on structure where in milling eliminates existing surface with precision and helps in sustaining road levels with reduction on extra load.

sting Ratanapur to Udaipur section, NH8 is under going on with cold milling technology.To execute milling quantity of 3,40,000 m2 Wirtgen’s front loading milling machine model W 130CF was commisioned on 11th March2016,till date we have executed 2,00,000 m2 with this machine and machine has clocked 455 hrs.
A controlled process of dismantling by a cold milling machine enables to have even profile and finely grooved surface after milling. Kunal Structure (India) from Ahmedabad has bought our front loader in 1.3 m class which can remove up to 330 mm in a single pass.
It is important to have other advantages in mind which can be achieved by milling other than sustenance of road levels and even profile; it gives finely grooved surface for better interlocking between existing and newly laid one.

Efficient Workflows
Optimally coordinated processes save time and money, and that applies not least to transferring the milled material. Wirtgen has practical solutions here as well. The conveyor’s extremely wide slewing angle of 60° in each direction makes it possible to transfer material even on difficult job sites, such as traffic circles or intersections. For high-precision material transfer, the machine operator can move the conveyor at two different speeds. And thanks to the most advanced control technology, the conveyor speed is held constant even if engine speed fluctuates.
W 130 CF
With 261 KW, the W 130 CF is the second most powerful cold milling machine in the compact class. This front-loader is the ideal machine for large construction sites with confined space, such as in downtown areas. In these places, in particular, the advanced visibility concept, combined with the camera systems, provide critical assistance to the operator when he is maneuvering the machine. For maximum traction of the crawler tracks, Wirtgen has adopted the central cutting drum design from its large milling machines. With an operating weight of 20.2T, the W 130 CF can be transported without a special heavy transport permit, and that is another major advantage for completing milling jobs flexibly and quickly.
