How do you look at the market in India for your range of products?
Owing to the accelerated spending by means of governments for excessive nice roads and highways for rapid movement of products and passengers even from the remote places to all essential cities all around the world to enhance the quality and stretch of road and highways, smart city initiatives are creating demand for Compactors & Asphalt pavers. Increased road construction projects lead us to forecast the demand of asphalt pavers & compactors and accordingly, we try to fulfill the need of our customers
How have the sale been for the company this year, and given the ongoing and upcoming building and infrastructural opportunities, what are your sales projections for FY23?
We feel the demand in India will remain at a good level. Of course, we see that new HAM projects takes time to take off and long rainy season has had some impact on demand. We will also have challenges from CEV IV and CEV V regulation in 2024 as engine manufacturers need to ramp up technology.
What are the emerging technological trends in your range of products?
In current scenario, it is demand of time that we need innovations for speedy and quality road construction. Dynapac has inherited culture of continuous improvement & innovation for superior performance & reliability. Our equipment is designed to perform and built to last in terms of low cost of ownership, quality results, high productivity, Jobsite confidence & excellent serviceability. In compactors we have optimized eccentricity for better fuel efficiency & economy. Dynapac was the first to introduce the efficient eccentrics system to the market in 2016. Dynapac equipment are equipped with high degree of intelligent compaction system. We focus on providing the best solution to our customers by examining the need of the project. From the compaction point of view, we look at the material to be compacted, layer thickness and speed with which the machine should be operated for the optimum results. In fact, we look at them as an opportunity to upgrade to superior machine performance, advanced control mechanisms, better fuel efficiency and enlarged profit margins for our customers for that specific project.
What are the challenges / bottlenecks that you are facing in the sector?
Industry is driving for bringing innovation in technology that can reduce construction time and cost. With a wide range of product portfolio as well as our global presence we are trying to bring new solutions to our customers to meet this need. This has been amply demonstrated in our product introductions in last two years from our Pune plant. Changing for better is in Dynapac’s DNA. Since last eight decades, Dynapac has always been at the forefront of sensing the environmental, technological and developmental changes. And we are also the first to fully operationalize these changes in our widest range of products and other offerings.
