10,331 kilometers of National Highways (NH) were constructed in 2022-2023. Today, road infrastructure progresses at an average of 28 km roads per day. India is witnessing one the fastest times (something like this) in connecting people all across and it’s no different in the state of Maharashtra.

The Palkhi Marg, a sacred palanquin route in Maharashtra, holds deep-rooted significance as a pathway of faith for devotees of Lord Vitthal. Every year, thousands of warkaris embark on a spiritual journey, traversing vast distances to seek darshan of the lord in the temple town of Pandharpur. To ensure the safety and convenience of these devotees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg in November 2021.

The Palkhi Marg is more than a physical route; it represents the deep faith and devotion of the warkaris. With the vision to create a Bhakti Marg, the four-lane Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg were constructed. This endeavor to facilitate the spiritual journey of devotees instills a sense of emotional connection, as the public witnesses the manifestation of their faith through the creation of this sacred pathway.

Safety is of utmost importance for the devotees who embark on this arduous pilgrimage. Dynapac machines played a vital role in constructing the dedicated walkways on both sides of the Palkhi Marg.

Dynapac had the honor of being chosen to build the Palkhi Marg. Our team of experts have worked with contractors looking at the application to pick the right equipment. The team of operating personnel were trained on usage and maintenance. And we continue to support the construction by having a dedicated team working specifically on supporting the equipment used for the Palkimarg project.

Dynapac equipment is designed to perform and built to last in terms of low cost of ownership, quality results, high productivity, Jobsite confidence & excellent serviceability. The implementation of the Dynapac 13 Ton Soil compactor CA385D in this project resulted in a shorter project completion time due to its enhanced static linear load of approximately 39 kg/cm. This feature facilitated a decrease in the number of required passes while also improving fuel efficiency. Dynapac Patented design of efficient eccentrics results in reducing energy consumption at start-up by 50% and thus saving fuel.

Our primary focus in the Palkimarg project was to ensure the timely completion of the project. To achieve this goal, we employed the Dynapac 9.7m paver SD2530CS, 13m paver SD2550CS, and 9m paver SD2500C. One of the standout features of these pavers is the utilization of the most stable screeds available. These screeds employ a 4-tube principle design, which offers ease of assembly, reducing the time required for setup. Additionally, they eliminate the need for supporting rods, even when working with large paving widths.

To optimize the paving process and ensure timely maintenance, all of these pavers are equipped with the Dyn@link Advance telematic system. This advanced system enables us to optimize paving parameters and closely monitor the performance of the pavers. With Dyn@link, we can track fuel consumption, receive service alerts for uninterrupted operation, set geofencing parameters, and check engine parameters, among other functionalities. This comprehensive monitoring capability is essential for maximizing machine uptime throughout the project.

CC425 Tandem roller, featuring advanced safety components and unmatched efficiency, has been deployed at this site. With a seat switch sensor, 120-degree swivel seat, and lever interlock system, it always ensures operator safety. The Dynalink Basic technology provides geofencing, live status updates, and a theft alert for added security. With a remarkable serviceability of 500 hours and a high-pressure sprinkler nozzle for complete drum coverage, it guarantees top-notch performance. Equipped with dual-side water tank filling positions and a segment-leading 800-liter capacity, it offers the best compaction results with uniform weight distribution for outstanding productivity.

To ensure long-term reliability and minimize maintenance needs, we have deployed the 14 Ton CP275 Pneumatic Roller in this project. With its durable construction and robust design, this roller delivers exceptional performance while requiring low maintenance efforts. By choosing this roller, we not only save valuable time but also reduce overall project costs, making it a cost-effective solution.

Aftermarket support: To ensure seamless operations, we assigned our dedicated service engineer, Arif, who underwent specialized training by Dynapac for maintenance purposes. Additionally, they conducted regular checks on the display units to identify and resolve any error codes promptly, ensuring uninterrupted performance.
