Describe Hyva’s product range.

Hyva’s product range encompasses light to superheavy duty rigid tippers and tip-trailers segments. It includes Front-End cylinders, Under-Body cylinders, Wet-Kits in tipping hydraulics and Conventional Rock and Box variants, U-body Rock and Coal variants, Transition Bodies, Exhaust Heat Bodies (EHB), Bolted Tipper Bodies and 3-way Tipper Bodies in tipper bodies.

We recently forayed into Moving Floors – horizontal loading and unloading system for transporting bulk products such as agriculture products, waste produce/recyclables, pallets, ore, and other abrasive materials. The loading capacity ranges between 33T-88T. It works in two directions – it can be used to both load and unload. This product brings in loading and unloading options in segments where vertical unloading by tippers is not feasible.

What types of tippers chassis are your tipper bodies compatible with? What is the maximum load capacity of your tipper bodies? Do you offer different sizes or configurations to accommodate various tipper specifications?

Hyva provides a comprehensive range of tipper bodies that cater to the diverse needs of industries. From the rugged Conventional Rock and Conventional Box bodies to the specialized U-Body Rock and U-Body Coal variants, the company excels in tailoring solutions for a wide range of applications and chassis types, with payload capacities ranging from 4.5m3 to 35m3, aligning with OEMs’ specific needs.

Can your tipping systems be customized to meet specific client requirements? How do you ensure that your tipping systems are compatible with a wide range of tippers in the market?

Hyva is a pioneer in bringing the Front-End tipping solution to India. Hyva tipping hydraulics technology centre is in Alpen, Netherlands. The European standard Hyva Front-End cylinders developed for Indian market showcase an innovative balanced design with lower oil volume for faster tipping and results in the lightest cylinder in the industry. The latest technology, the Alpha Series, represents the fifth generation of front-end tipping solutions, offering improvements in weight, speed, safety, and efficiency. These kits, designed for applications like mining, transportation, and construction, provide higher efficiency and enhanced safety at a lower total cost of ownership. Hyva’s kits are compatible with a full range of tippers in India, spanning 7.5T to 70T GVW, featuring cylinder-mounted tipping valves, filter options, knock-off and control choices, and gear pumps capable of catering requirements of rigid tippers and tip-trailers of 100T as well, with maximum safety. The modular design of these kits ensures high flexibility, allowing for modular installation or maximum benefit from the entire system.

Describe the hydraulic system used in your tipping systems. What safety features are integrated into the hydraulic system?

Hyva enhances tipping system safety with the inclusion of a Tilt Switch featuring optional on-board diagnostics. The Tilt Switch alerts operators to unsafe tipping conditions, such as precarious vehicle tilting and excessive side loads, reducing the potential vehicle toppling hazards. Additionally, Hyva introduced an HT valve designed for seamless mounting on the cylinder port. This ensures operators maintain full control over the tipping system, even in the rare occurrence of a hose burst, reaffirming Hyva’s unwavering commitment to safety and operational control in all situations.

What after-sales services do you provide to ensure the ongoing satisfaction of your customers?

To address this, Hyva is coming up with an Alpha-Conversion Series with a lighter and smaller diameter cylinder. Beyond efficiency enhancements, this series prioritizes vehicle safety with redesigned cylinder overlaps and an optimized guide system, boosting tipping stability significantly.  Evolving with the digital age, Hyva introduces Hyva DTS – a seamless integration of technology into its products. With smart sensors, real-time monitoring, and IoT connectivity, Hyva DTS empowers fleet owners to track tipper location, access trip data, and receive comprehensive management reports. Operators benefit from real-time warnings for unsafe conditions, payload indicators, maintenance alerts, and more. This forward-thinking approach not only allows monitoring of equipment health and performance but also establishes Hyva as a leading technology provider in the industry. In a move towards sustainability and efficiency, Hyva introduces e-PTO in the tipping hydraulics sector specifically designed for electric vehicles (EV). This technology harnesses the power of electric drivetrains to drive hydraulic systems, eliminating the need for traditional mechanical power sources. The result is a reduction in emissions and environmental impact, coupled with enhanced overall energy efficiency.
