The Indian Tower Crane market has witnessed a shift towards bigger capacity Tower Cranes.

Indian Tower Crane Industry has witnessed a phenominal growth in the past year 2022 with the total crane market of around 550 units of Tower cranes. These figures show the Tower crane usage not only on growth track but also indicating the rise in demand in Indian real estate market which is the main driving force for growth of Tower Cranes Industry in India.  

• Besides real estate significant sectors that consumes Tower Cranes include hydro Projects, cement & power plants, metro rail projects, composite structure and precast & PPVC technology

Pre-cast construction & composite strutures concept is gaining popularity and acceptance resulting on an increased demand for bigger capacity tower Cranes in the Indian market. Precast methodology has the capacity to meet the demand of the rising commercial and housing space as well as to meet the requirements of handover of the projects set by RERA ( Real Estate Regulatory Authorit).The demand for Tower Cranes in higher capacity range has gone up as heavy prefabricated structures require bigger capacity cranes for their installation.

In recent years the Indian Tower Crane market has witnessed a shift towards a bigger capacity Tower cranes with Luffing Jib features specially in metro cities where there are significant space restrictions and precast or composite building construction challenges need to be addressed. Luffing Jib cranes in the capacity range of 18-24 Tons are in demand to meet the construction challenges in restricted spaces specially in congested Indian Metro cities.
