What are the recent technological advancements or innovations in your wheel loader products?
Tata Hitachi has been working on innovations on products that can improve efficiency, reliability, and operating costs for its customers, which can result in a better ROI for the investment made by customers. The introduction of hydrostatic transmission on the TL340, a 3T wheel loader, is unique in its class and is the only wheel loader in this class that comes with this technology. This results in better fuel efficiency and a longer transmission life, thereby reducing the life cycle cost of the wheel loader. The 5T wheel loader ZW225-6, launched in 2022, has started gaining acceptance as it comes with a proven Hitachi Hydraulics and Insite, using which the machine can be tracked online. These machines are made in India. The high-capacity wheel loaders ZW310, ZW370, and ZW550 are imported from Japan and come with IoT providing Consite, where the customer gets an analysis of the health of the machine, which can help them take action to improve the efficiency of the machine.
Can you provide insights into any upcoming developments or product releases related to wheel loaders?
Keeping in mind the diverse requirement, options are being worked out by fixing attachments in place of buckets. Attachments like forklift, snow cutter, quick couplers etc have been under discussion with end users in the recent past, and Tata Hitachi foresees that these would-be options will be required in the days to come.
