Which segments drive the demand for crushers and screens? How do you compare the demand trends of various crusher types?

Crusher is the pivotal of many industries ranging from stones, mines, coal, limestone, recyclying waste, iron ore, mineral processing, food industry such as wine making. Many sectors use different type of crushers – usually at the prime stage and secondary stage operations. Predominantly, the market is driven by quarry industry due to the infrastructure need and growth plans. We see the demand grow in this sector at a double digit in the next two years prior to the central elections in mid-2024. Until then it seems no looking back.

What is the current scenario of aggregate and M-sand production?

M-Sand is becoming the norm in the industry and its demand is growing exponentially not just in India but also globally as M-Sand is half the price of river sand. India Sand market is about 900 million tons a year and the market is growing at 7-8% forecasted for next five years. India is the second largest consumer of Sand in the World next only to China. Global market size estimated as per 2020 figures is 14.1 Billion USD.

How do you look at the long-term market opportunities for crushers and screens considering the government’s National Infrastructure Pipeline plan and the policy reforms in mining?

We expect Crushers will have new applications in bio mining, improving water ways, dredging activities, E-Waste management, EV battery disposal management, old vehicles disposal and there are numerous requirements expected to come up in the near future. Nowadays, customers focus on green initiatives and savings in fuel costs and leaving a lesser carbon footprint.

Can you tell us the green initiatives on product development undertaken by your organization?

We have made our equipment to consume less power and focus more on operational cost-reduction which is direct to reduce the carbon foot print. Machine’s design and development predominantly focused on high efficiency and product life cycle management which in turn helps the green initiative not only by us but also our customers during its entire life cycle.

What efforts have been made to make your product more versatile and value for money for the customers?

It is the design that we focus more on ‘Pin & Bush’ type instead of only welded design which has a unique advantage of both rigiditiy and flexibility. The life is much higher probability ratio of failure is less, even in situations of failure, replacement is faster and the downtime is lesser. Thus, it is very advantageous to our customer. Customer success is our moto and everything revolves in focus of customers only.

With heavy increase in the expenditure for infrastructure development in the country, how do you think you are going to utilize the opportunity?

We see good opportunity for at least next 7 to 8 years in continuous upward curve. But the next few years is crucial and we have made a road map of reaching 1000 crore turnover during this period and working towards that plans and actions.
