Dana offers compact and efficient drives for infrastructure equipment enhancing the overall product performance and reduced total ownership cost. Dana has a wide range of e-drives to offer in various applications like Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (Scissor and Boom Lifts), Mini-excavators, and compact asphalt tandem rollers. Dana offers its customers a localised packaged solution that we call as 4-in-1 e-Propulsion system consisting of e-Motos (low voltage & high voltage),

What sustainable innovations has your company implemented in your manufacturing processes?

Reduction in GHG (Greenhouse gases) with the implementation of Heat pumps, solar heaters, HVLS fans, Harmonic controls in electric panels

Reduction in compressed air consumption through air scan audits, air guns elimination

We are currently using solar power for some of our operations, we are planning to expand percentage share of renewal source of energy of our total power consumption.

We have implemented returnable/ reusable packaging with many of our customers and suppliers

Productivity increase with the implementation of Semi Automation lines and use of energy efficient machines.

How do your products (gearmotors) help in extending life of construction equipment?

Dana designs and rigorously validates its products for severe applications and ensure the product reliability to meet the extreme customer and market requirements. Products are designed to work in any adverse operating conditions without jeopardising product performance and reliability.

How is the demand for your products (gearmotors) growing in the CE sector?

With the investments Govt of India has declared through “National Monetisation Pipeline” and “National Infrastructure Pipeline” over the next few years India is poised to attract the growth in increasing the “must have” infrastructure be it roads, railways, airports, power transmission, housing and urban real estate, ports etc, we see a very good demand in CE sector domestically. Many global OEM’s have set up sourcing and manufacturing base in India, which significantly increases the size of the market size, our exports from India to our global customers has been very good from past few years and we are very optimistic about the continuation of this growth trend for both domestic as well as exports.
