How do you look at the market trends for Gear motors from the construction/infrastructure equipment segment?
We see that there are substantial Infrastructure development projects coming across India and other parts of the world which will have a good requirement for Geared motors. With the rise in commodity prices, mining sector is seeing a positive trend due to rise in demand of minerals and this is going to further boost-up the requirement for Geared motors in Infrastructure equipment.
How do customer requirements vary from different equipment and how are you meeting those requirements?
Customer necessities vary with respect application orientation, loading factors, usage factors and distinctive to the applying demands. We have a tendency to study and offer a solution from our product basket satisfying the customer.
The market is going through a slowdown affecting many equipment segments. How do you look at this situation for the Gearmotors industry?
The market for requirements of geared motors has shown strong resilience to come out of the effects of the pandemic with high growth. As we move into the next phase, construction businesses have started reacting in agile and decisive ways and hence we see bright prospects for Gearmotor industry.

We have recently launched our MIVA series developed specifically for Agitator / Mixer application which is used in Mining Industry. This Gearmotor is unique and latest in the market with dry-well concept on output shaft and designed to take the external loads in this application

As already indicated, the market is expected to surge in near future as initiatives like Make in India / Atmanirbhar Bharat are becoming more interconnected within the process operations.
