What types of engines do you manufacture specifically for construction equipment?

Our country has the second-largest road network in the world, spanning a total of 6.3 million kilometers, with government planning further expansions to expand the network. Assuming the growth in the construction sector is steady, and government’s road building policy, I am optimistic that diesel engine market in India will continue to grow at a positive rate, as great majority of heavy construction equipment in India is now powered by diesel engines.

To aid this growth, we manufacture Heavy Duty Diesel Engines ranging from 100kW to 500kW which are used for construction equipment. Cooper Corporation powers a wide variety of construction equipment like compressors, cranes, mixers and earth movers so that it can be operated with ease in the most difficult working conditions.

How do you ensure the reliability of your engines in demanding construction environments?

Construction equipment operate in severe environment demanding robust design against dusty operating conditions, higher thermal & mechanical loads, high altitude & rough terrain environment while maintaining lowest cost of ownership.

Our engines are equipped with bed plate design ensuring structural rigidity, least vibrations with balancer shaft, compacted graphite iron cylinder head capable of handling >200bar peak cylinder pressure, custom engineered liner & ring pack design etc. which assure exceptionally high reliability while maintaining least cost of ownership due to longest oil drain intervals and best-in-class fuel consumption.

How do you handle customizing engines to meet specific requirements or preferences of CE manufacturers?

We have developed tailor made modules to meet customized requirements such as cold start kits, multi-mode power torque characteristics, customized cooling packages along-with maximum gradeability.
