The demand for motor graders has seen a consistent increase in our country and many projects are underlying so we can see a huge surge in demand and now India is making roads and breaking records.
How do you see a growth in the use of Motor Graders in terms of rural road construction?
The allocation to Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), the rural roads construction scheme, in the budget for the year 2022-23 was raised by whopping 36 per cent to Rs 19,000 crore, from Rs 14,000 crore. Lot of focus on rural road development is seen in the north eastern areas, Uttar Pradesh and states of Jammu and Kashmir. We are optimistic that rural road development is going to be one of the key focus in the near future and Motor graders will be of significant use in this sector.
What are your views on Motor Graders that are used in mining? What are the features supporting mining applications?
Mining activity calls for heavy duty applications to meet the challenges of grading in mining applications.
Important features required for mining applications are rigid and reliable frame, optimal engine power, improved traction and ground clearance.

Can you brief us about the latest Motor Graders and solutions from your company?
On the basis of inputs from our users, we have launched the FMG130 which is a 9-tonne category motor grader powered with BS IV 130 hp engine.
The feature such as frame articulation and turn circle makes this machine more versatile and useful in various applications.
What is your market outlook for Motor Graders in the coming years?
Roads sector is expected to account for a prominent share of capital expenditure. There is a strong focus on rural development and border road connectivity.
