“With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources across diverse industries, my career journey began in IT, followed by the hospitality sector, before transitioning to the manufacturing industry, where I am currently based. Each transition has been challenging yet rewarding, particularly as I adapted to the structured, process-driven environment of manufacturing. During the early stages of my career, a summer project with one of India’s leading refineries sparked my interest in manufacturing setups. Since then, I’ve embraced the challenges of managing labor complexities, shop floor operations, and navigating stringent labor laws, all while bridging communication gaps between employees and management. By implementing strategic plans and automating key HR processes, we have fostered a culture of continuous improvement, driving employee engagement and productivity. At Weichai India, we prioritize attracting and retaining top, diverse talent, which we believe is essential for generating innovative ideas, enhancing perspectives, and ultimately achieving better business outcomes. To anyone entering or currently working in the manufacturing sector, my advice is to stay curious, bold, and open to learning.
