Every step, every challenge, every small victory has shaped who I am today

The beginning of 2018 marked a turning point in my career when I was introduced to MANN+HUMMEL through a good friend and former colleague. The interview process was quick and smooth, and before I knew it, I had joined the company in May 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for India.

I am a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Finance. I’m deeply passionate about working with people, taking ownership, embracing autonomy, and viewing failures as stepping stones rather than setbacks. I believe in continuous learning and seizing every opportunity to grow—both personally and professionally.

Since I joined, the company has grown significantly in India, expanding into new markets and product segments, while setting ambitious targets for future growth. I’ve been fortunate to work closely with leadership teams at global, regional, and local levels—each of whom have empowered and supported me in driving key decisions for India.

MANN+HUMMEL’s commitment to empowering women leaders is both holistic and intentional—through structured policies, leadership development programs, and a culture that truly fosters inclusion. It is encouraging to see the company take such proactive steps toward gender equity in leadership—both globally and in India. With my financial and business acumen, I take pride in contributing meaningfully to the organization’s growth and success.

I’m honoured to serve on the Board of Directors of MANN+HUMMEL India, representing the active participation and influence of women in strategic decision-making at the highest level. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as Chairperson of the ICC Committee for POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), where I work to promote a safe and respectful workplace culture for all employees—especially women.

While financial stewardship remains central to my role, my responsibilities have evolved to include broader organizational strategy, transformation initiatives, and close collaboration with business leaders to drive execution. In 2024, our Finance and Controlling team was deeply honored to receive the MANN+HUMMEL Global Award for Leadership Principles in the category of “Financially Driven Organization.” I’m proud to have made a meaningful impact on our company’s journey.

What I truly value is working in an environment where I am respected for who I am. I’m grateful to be surrounded by inspiring leaders, supportive colleagues, trusted mentors—and, most importantly, my family and friends—who continually encourage me to believe in myself, engage in courageous conversations, and pursue my true passion.
