What products or solutions are you showcasing at this edition of bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024? What is your focus during the exhibition?
We are participating in this important exhibition with our stall in Hall no 7 Booth No B43. We apart from our wide range of civil foundation equipment will focus on CFA piles, diaphragm wall and anchors and Team Casagrande experts would be available at booth to explain our product features and our presence in Indian and international market.
What are your expectations for participating in bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024? How do you plan to engage with visitors and stakeholders at the exhibition? Are there any specific goals or outcomes you are hoping to achieve from this event?
Such exhibitions give an opportunity to meet with many new and existing customers and explain them our product features and success we have had in India and other countries. We also discuss some important case history of some challenging job sites and how Team Casagrande helped contractors to adapt suitable working methodology. Such meetings help us understand the market trend and upcoming new projects and accordingly prepare ourselves for future potential.
Are there any regulatory or policy changes that you anticipate will impact the construction equipment and allied sector soon?
Due to environmental issues, we have taken the initiative in introducing Stage V -Tier IV diesel engines in Indian market and we expect Government of India to make it mandatory to use environment friendly engines from year 2025 onwards for construction equipment in India.
What are some of the key factors that you believe will shape the future of the construction equipment and allied industry in India, and how is your company preparing for them considering its expansion plans in India?
Government of India has to seriously think about doing away with L1 tender business as this leads to many small and inexperienced contractors securing contracts and who then look for short term solutions and end up buying cheaper machinery. Development of India infrastructure needs state of the art technology equipment, which are highly reliable, multifunctional and offer economical and faster production. Government needs to encourage contractors to source new and proven technology equipment’s for smooth and faster project execution.
